Christmas is coming to Conwy

After our barnstorming May Bank Holiday Weekend Event, we’ve been counting down the days until our popular not-on-the-High-Street, trading marquees return to Conwy’s historic harbour.

This winter, we’ve got fantastic festive faire planned and you are invited to join the festivities.

Whether you’re a seasoned shopaholic, a bonafede bargain bagger, or more of a Christmas eve Mad Dasher, our unique Winter Faire will bring a bit of Xmas cheer to one and all.

Picture the scene:

Under the unforgettable back drop of Conwy’s iconic medieval castle, sits a glorious marquee twinkling and sparkling with the glow of so many fairy lights. As you approach, the sea comes alive with the reflection of the light from our glinting winter palace, and you can hear the subtle strains of music drifting over the bay. As you cross the threshold, you’re greeted by the sights and sounds of a cornucopia of the UK’s finest artisans, makers, and traders. Inside warm air circulates around the marquee as you stroll around our Grand Bazaar and take time to explore treasures and wonders you won’t find anywhere near the High Street. Come and join us for a celebration of UK talent and find custom-made, bespoke, and unique gifts you can’t find anywhere else. Oh, and did we mention entry to our spacious, heated, carpeted marquees is free? So, if you’re in the neighbourhood from the 21^st to the 24^th of November come and join the fun and this Christmas may your gifts be legendary!

This is no mere shopping event, it’s a Christmas faire and a veritable winter wonderland made flesh on the stunning promenade of one the UK’s most beloved towns.

This Holiday season Cottage Industries is talking our unique Christmas Market back to Yorkshire! Thanks to the lovely folks at Yorkshire’s Wildlife Park, we’ve been invited back to take part in this year’s Winter Illuminations.

If you were with us last year, you’ll know what an amazing time lies ahead. Last year, we ran our marquees alongside the park’s popular Winter Illuminations.

If you’re local to the area or even just fancy an adventure, our unique marquees provide an unrivalled shopping experience for discerning gift buyers, treasure hunters, and anyone who prefers to support the talented British maker’s community.

For eight days over two long weekends we’re hosting a winter market briming with the best in British designers, artisans and crafts folk. Our winter faire was so successful last year that we’ve extended our time and this year visitors can access our shopping arenas free of charge on both the Thursdays and Fridays. Plus with respectable trading hours of 11am to 6pm there’ll be plenty of opportunities for you to find the perfect gift for even the most awkward friends and relatives. With two huge marquess full of trinkets, treasures, and object ‘art you won’t find om the hight street it’s the ideal day out for everyone and let’s not forget the famous Yorkshire Wildlife Park’s stunning illuminations themselves.

Like last year, our twin marquees will have pride of place at the entrance to the event and both will be heated and feature wooden, carpeted flooring.

So, if you’re in the area from the 12^th to the 15^th, and the 19^th to the 22^nd of December,

come and join us and support local makers and your own community this Christmas.

Are you coming to Conwy?

If you haven’t got anything planned for the May Day Weekend, please consider yourself cordially invited to Conwy harbour. For the whole weekend, our Marquee will stand proud in the shadow of the world heritage site of Conwy Castle. Inside, our handpicked merchants will be offering visitors worldclass wares from all corners of our wee kingdom.

Conwy is like no where else. Make sure you take time to meander through the best preserved medieval walled castle in Europe and the warren-like cobbled nooks and crannies of the old town. Should you feel the need to indulge in some retail therapy you’ll find our vast marquee provides ample sustenance with a fine selection of handmade, bespoke object d’arts, treasures, and trinkets from a veritable ‘Who’s Who’ of talented UK designers, makers and artists.

The Three Counties Agricultural Society’s flagship agricultural show is the Royal Three Counties Show of which HRH the Princess Royal is Patron. Taking place over 3 days and hosting over 90,000 visitors, the show has become the largest livestock and equine show in England and hosts 50 Horse of the Year Show Qualifiers. The Show attracts a broad range of society with 30% of visitors involved within the farming industry/community meanwhile the 74% ABC1 and 59% AB are provided with a full programme of family entertainment.
